Reader, welcome to: The Rainmaker Weekly ForecastEach week I’ll share what I’m seeing work in business, what’s happening behind the scenes of my own, what’s coming up (events and workshops), and one simple sales insight to focus on. LAST CALL: The Rainmaker 30 Day TrialToday is the last day to join with a $500 annual savings.Because the value in this program has grown tremendously in the past year, the access terms are changing. Today is the last day to join with forever access to the Julie Jones Course Library. If you have purchased rainmaker before 4/21/26 you will continue to have access to the course library for the lifetime of the program. What you believe about sales, directly impacts how much money you make. This week I asked a group of practitioners to go deep into their beliefs and tell me the truth about how they feel about sales. I didn't expect to be given so much insight this week into what we struggle with as humans when it comes to getting paid for our "thing." Their responses revealed so much about the emotional landscape, fears, desires, and bottlenecks that so many are facing in business. And I realized just how common it is to feel insecure when it's time to talk about money. Here's what I heard: • "Sales feels tough because I don't like being sold to or convinced to buy something, so I have a hard time wanting to do the same to others." • "'Selling' feels very energy poor and scammy coming from the cultural field." • "I sometimes have guilt about receiving money when I don't think I delivered the best care ever." • "I get concerned that I did not build enough value for them to want to invest in furthering their care." • "I put on a mask when I go to sell and become a version of a salesperson I've seen in the world." I realized just how much resistance there is to "selling" and truly, felt more connected than ever to my work in helping entrepreneurs remove the resistance and feel empowered through this process instead. My clients see themselves as healers, empaths, teachers, and problem-solvers, NOT salespeople. So when they have to step into that role, they become someone they're not. Ever feel like you get "weird" during a sales convo?? Yeah… that's what I'm talking about. This identity conflict is at the core of everything. It's a HUGE obstacle. Not just to income, but to the thing they actually came here to do. Because when you're stuck in survival mode, you put MORE pressure on the sales process, which just creates more resistance, more convincing, more of the same. And when you're not making sales… You don't have the capacity to make the impact you're meant to make. The money isn't just about money; it's about creating the resources to fully step into your purpose. On the last day of the challenge I asked everyone what they were taking away from the week. One of my students said: "I finally understand why you say that you love sales. Because it's not at all what I thought it was." Sales is not convincing someone to do something, pressuring or manipulating them. It can be done ethically, with love, with respect, and integrity. In my world, it is the portal to possibility — a super juicy, collaborative experience where we get to find out if we want to embark on a journey together. The Thing, Nashville, TN. This week made me more fired up than ever to share this message. And the next place I'll be speaking about selling with integrity is at The Thing, June 7-9 in Nashville, TN. The Thing is a creative leadership conference for people who are serious about doing their "thing" and even more serious about doing it with others instead of white-knuckling it alone. What you believe about and how you approach sales and money can either become your biggest obstacle OR accelerator when it comes to getting your "thing" out there (and making a living doing it). You can join me at The Thing! Register here! Use code IMWITHJULIE for 10% savings. (That is an affiliate link — yes, I earn a small commission.) You will want to be in this room. Best part — The Thing is built around "no green-room culture". The 20+ speakers and guides are in the seats next to you, collaborating the entire weekend. The potential for growth, partnerships, and support in this room is pretty unmatched. I want to pay for you to attend. One more thing. I want to get as many practitioners into that room as possible. So I'm starting a scholarship fund. I put together the Sell Your Thing Bundle — the complete Sell Like A Natural Challenge recordings and workbooks, plus my entire Practice Growth Bundle (marketing planner, sales scripts, objection cheat sheet, discovery call guide, profitable care plan workshop, and two bonus trainings). Everything you need to sell your thing with confidence and integrity. It's $197. And half of every sale goes directly toward sponsoring a ticket to The Thing for a practitioner who needs to be in that room but can't get there on their own. So when you grab the bundle, two things happen: you get over $500 worth of sales and marketing tools for $197, and you help send someone to an event that could change the trajectory of their business. You can also gift the bundle to a friend or colleague. GRAB THE SELL YOUR THING BUNDLE If you'd like to apply for The Thing Ticket Scholarship, you can do so here. Want to be booked out (without burnout) this year?Start with a no-pressure connect call. We'll chat about your goals, current challenges, and brainstorm some solutions. If it aligns, we'll talk about options for getting started.

Rainmaker Weekly June 1, 2026 Reader, Holy smokes, it’s June 1st — where did May go?! Today is the first day of summer break for my kids, and I'm adjusting to a totally new schedule, I’m traveling to speak at The Thing Nashville, and I’m on the tail end of a head cold. Sometimes life is messy. My business has been at a revenue plateau for the better part of six months (minus April, which was my highest revenue month ever — hooray!), and I’ve been working to break the pattern. For the past 6...
